4.3 Cleaning the exhaust filter

CAUTION:
The filter is washable but is not suitable for cleaning in washing machines or dishwashers. Fur-
thermore, do not use detergents or brushes with hard bristles. Do not re-insert it until it is com-
pletely dry.

1. Switch off the appliance and pull the plug
from the socket.
2. Unlock the exhaust filter cover by pressing
the button for its release catch (fig. 20).
3. Remove the exhaust filter (fig. 21).
4. Rinse out the exhaust filter thoroughly un-
der lukewarm water.
5. Leave the exhaust filter to dry for approxi-
mately 24 hours at room temperature after
cleaning it with water. Do not re-insert it
until it is completely dry.
6. Insert the exhaust filter back in its console
(fig. 21).
7. Attach the exhaust filter cover at the bot-
tom first. Then press it firmly at the bottom
(fig. 22). You will hear it click into place.
