tery compartment. The minus pole has to be facing the cover of
the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment again
carefully.
Fitting the Speedbox
Secure the back of the Speedbox to your shoe by pulling the
shoelace through the hole provided. Then you have to put the
front opening of the Speedbox between the shoelaces. Pull the
shoelaces tight before doing up the shoe.
Setting up data transmission
Before using for the first time, digital data transmission between
the Speedbox and the heart rate monitor have to be coordinated
("paired").
Switch on the Speedbox with the adjusting knob at the top. In the
"Settings" menu on the heart rate monitor, select "PairNewDev".
The Speedbox and the heart rate monitor automatically pair up.
Use
Switch on the Speedbox. Your heart rate monitor receives signals
from the Speedbox as soon as you have activated the latter and
have switched to the "Training" menu using the "MENU" button.
When the Speedbox is activated, the button allows you to
choose between different display options in the "Time", "Training"
and "Spd'nDst" menus.
