Setting the desired level of humidity
Press the Up or Down arrow to highlight the humidity symbol (16) and press OK. Set the desired level of humidity on the scale that
runs from 0–10: 0 = a dry sauna, 10 = maximum humidity.
The water level in the tank is indicated by the water droplet icon in the status display. An illuminated, fully filled water droplet
indicates a full tank. An illuminated, half-filled icon indicates that the tank is half full. A flashing, empty icon indicates that the tank is
empty. When starting a bathing cycle, an empty tank is also indicated by a repeated audible signal. If the water runs out before the
end of the preset bathing time, this is also indicated by a flashing icon and a repeated audible signal. As the tank is gradually refilled
with water, the icon changes from half-filled to full and a single audible signal sounds to indicate that the tank is full once again.

Drying mode
When the preset running time has elapsed or the heater is switched off by pressing the OFF key, the sauna heater switches
automatically to drying mode (provided that the water tank has been in use and the humidity level has been set at a value from 1 to
10). The drying cycle runs for 20 minutes and then the heater switches off. The drying cycle can also be terminated manually by
pressing the OFF key.
To show that the drying mode is in operation, the ON icon is replaced by the drying mode icon.
Setting the desired start time and programming the calendar
You can set a start time for the sauna heater up to 24 hours in advance. You can also program a full week's bathing activities,
specifying start and stop times, desired temperature, which days of the week the setting applies to (up to a week in advance), and
whether or not the program is to be repeated.
To preset a start time, use the Up and Down arrows to mark the clock symbol (3) and press OK. Select Timer and Start time, then
preset the desired time by using the Up and Down arrows. Confirm each individual figure by pressing OK. A clock icon will light up
in the status display to indicate that the control panel has been programmed with a start time.
A time that has already been programmed into the control panel can be activated by stepping to Activate under the clock symbol
and confirming this previous setting with OK.
To deactivate a programmed value, step to (3), use the Down arrow to step to Activate and confirm with OK.
To create a weekly bathing program, use the Up and Down arrows to mark the clock symbol and press OK. Select Calendar and
then New activity. Then set the start time, stop time, temperature, humidity, weekdays that the program is to run and whether the
program is to be repeated each week. Also set the Activity type, in other words whether the unit is to be On or in Standby mode.
Selecting Standby reduces the temperature by a predefined number of degrees. (The default value for this is 20°C.) When bathers
arrive, they simply press an external switch or an h2 panel and the sauna room quickly heats up to the preset temperature. When
selecting the day, all days of the week are displayed. Use the Up and Down arrows to select which day the program is to run and
confirm with OK. It is possible to select more than one day. The selected days are indicated by a tick to the right of the day. After
selecting the desired day/days, move down to the > symbol. Then select whether this program applies for the coming week only, or
for every week. When an activity (program) has been created, this is indicated by the calendar icon, which lights up in the status
display.
It is possible to create multiple programs. To program more than one activity, select New Activity in the calendar menu after the first
program has been entered. Up to 5 activities may be programmed.
To delete a program, select the program to be deleted in the calendar menu, then step to Remove and confirm with OK.
Locking the control panel
To prevent any unauthorised changes to programmed values, the control panel's keypad can be locked by simultaneously pressing
the Home (11) and Back (10) buttons for approximately 2 seconds. A key icon will appear in the status display. To unlock the
keypad, press the Home and Back buttons once again for approximately 2 seconds.
Settings menu
Under the Settings menu are a number of extra functions. These are designed to make troubleshooting easier and can be used to
set certain parameters. It is also possible to use this menu to reset the h2 panel to the factory default setting. There are the
following sub-menus:
Sauna – Used to set parameters related to the Combi heater. The sub-menus are:
Bath type priority– Determines the heating priority. The default priority automatically prioritises steam production at temperatures
below 70°C and the heating of the sauna room at temperatures above 70°C. When the sauna function is prioritised,
this means that steam production does not start until the temperature in the sauna room has reached its preset level.
The steam priority option prioritises steam production, but two of the heating elements are still used to heat up the
sauna room.
Standby – This enables operators to set a reduced temperature for Standby mode.
General – Used to set various parameters such as time, date, language, etc. The sub-menus under General are:
Set time – Used to set clock
Set date
Region – Used to set language, temperature scale (°C/°F) and time format (12 or 24-hour clock)
Sleep delay – The length of time the control panel remains inactive before the display switches off.
Key-lock – Here you can choose to activate an automatic keypad lock (the panel locks automatically after a certain time: to
unlock, press the Home (11) and Back (10) buttons simultaneously), a code lock (which requires a correct code to be
entered before the panel can be operated), and change the code for the code lock. You also set the time delay
before the code lock is activated.
Vibration – Select whether or not you wish the panel to vibrate slightly when a button is pressed.
About – Displays information about the system: software/hardware versions and product ID.
Service – Under the service menu you can, for example, change the parameters that were set during the initial installation process.
The code 124 must be entered to access the service menu.
