DISPENSER

IMPORTANT:
•
Allow 24 hours for the refrigerator to cool down and chill water.
Dispense enough water every week to maintain a fresh supply.
•
If the amount of ice in the ice storage bin is not sufficient, the ice
may not dispense.
•
If ice will not be dispensed for a week or longer, turn off the ice
maker and empty the ice bin to keep the cubes from freezing
together.
To Dispense:
WARNING
Cut Hazard
Use a sturdy glass when dispensing ice or water.
Failure to do so can result in cuts.
1. Hold a container under the dispenser while pressing the Water,
Cubed Ice or Crushed Ice button.
2. Release the button to stop dispensing. Continue to hold the
container under the dispenser. The dispenser will continue
to dispense for several seconds after releasing the dispenser
button.
Dispenser Tray
Remove the strainer and clean the dispenser tray with a sponge or
absorbent cloth.

WATER FILTRATION SYSTEM

The water filter is located in the upper right-hand corner of the
refrigerator compartment.
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of
unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after
the system.
IMPORTANT:
•
The disposable water filter life depends on the amount of use.
It is recommended that you replace the filter at least every 6
months. Call the Customer Help Line at 1-877-337-3639 to
purchase a new filter.
•
Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator before removing or
replacing the water filter or locking cap.
•
Do not leave the water filter port exposed. Always have either a
water filter or locking cap in place.

REPLACING THE WATER FILTER

IMPORTANT: Air trapped in the water system may cause water and
filter to eject. Always dispense water for at least 2 minutes before
removing the filter.
1. Lower the water filter door.
2. Turn the locking cap counterclockwise to remove, and then
remove the filter.
3. Insert the new replacement filter.
4. Turn the filter clockwise until it stops. Snap the filter cover
closed.
5. Dispense water for 5 minutes to remove air from the water
system.
NOTE: The dispenser can be used without a water filter installed.
Your water will not be filtered. If this option is chosen, you must use
the bypass plug (provided).
