INTRODUCTION

The "Heated Carpet" is designed basing on state-of-the-art cable technology in accordance with European quality standards and meets the safety and
environmental compatibility requirements.
The product provides the following advantages:
• uniform and quick warming-up;
• flexibility, ease of transportation;
• ease of operation and cleaning;
• reliability and durability.

FIELD OF APPLICATION

The "Heated Carpet" is a light, portable and durable carpet providing a cozy warmth and may be used:
1. for drying of wet footwear. As a result, your footwear is always well-tended and dry.
2. for footwear clean up when entering rooms (offices, entrance lobbies, halls, etc.). As a result, less dust and dirt get into the room.
3. for local warming of your feet. As a result, you feel comfort and warmth whenever and wherever you need it.
The "Heated Carpet" is designed for operation only on the floor surface, indoors. We recommend using the product on such flooring materials as:
ceramic or stone tile, laminate and linoleum.

OPERATION AND SAFETY MEASURES

ATTENTION!
1. The "Heated Carpet" is designed for operation only on the floor surface, indoors.
2. Always de-energize the "Heated Carpet", if you do not plan to use it for a long time.
3. The product cleaning can only to be performed when the Heated Carpet is disconnected from the power mains.
4. Do not perform maintenance or service repairs.
5. Avoid fold and overlap formation in the course of the product operation. The "Heated Carpet" must lay flat against the floor all the time.
IT IS NOT ALLOWED,
• to connect the "Heated Carpet" to a power outlet not equipped with an earthing contact that fits to the earthing pin of the carpet's power plug.
• to use the "Heated Carpet" if its outer sheath or power cord have visible mechanical damage. In case of all sorts of damage completely remove from
power supply and do not use any further.
• to use the "Heated Carpet" on floors with synthetic piled coverings.
• to use the "Heated Carpet" placed pile down.
• to use the "Heated Carpet" for purposes other than intended.
• to use the "Heated Carpet" in bathrooms or other rooms with similar or even higher humidity.
• to use the "Heated Carpet" simultaneously with operating floor heating or place it near other domestic heating units.
• to create situations hampering regular heat emissions from the product, that is to lay upon the carpet clothes, blankets, pillows etc.
• to place the "Heated Carpet" on an uneven surface.
• to expose the "Heated Carpet" to excessive mechanical influence (for example, to stand on the "Heated Carpet" in ice skates etc.) or to let domestic
animals bite and clapperclaw it.
• to place furniture on the "Heated Carpet", including legs or wheels of tables and chairs.
• to fix the "Heated Carpet" to the floor by means of self-tapping screws, nails etc.
• to utilize the "Heated Carpet" when it is crumpled or to switch the "Heated Carpet" on, when it is rolled, has folds or overlaps.
• to leave aerosol spray cans on the "Heated Carpet".
• to leave on the "Heated Carpet" metal things with sharp edges, such as hairpins, pins, needles, drawing pins etc.
• to pull the power cord out of electrical socket, holding by the wire.
• to move the "Heated Carpet" along the floor holding it by the power cord wire or electrical plug.
• to roll the "Heated Carpet" starting with the wider side (80cm).
• to disassemble the "Heated Carpet" or make alternation in its construction.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
• It is recommended to power the "Heated Carpet" from the electrical mains equipped with Residual Current Device (RCD) with rated actuating
current 30 mA.
• In order to prevent the excessive drying of the footwear, it is not recommended to leave it on the operating "Heated Carpet" for more than 24 hours.
• In order to prevent the loss of efficiency of the footwear drying, it is not recommended using the "Heated Carpet" on the flooring materials with high
thermal conductivity, such as metal plates.
• To decrease the time of footwear drying, it is recommended to remove the inner soles and heat insulating inserts and to unlace the footwear.
• To extend the lifetime of the "Heated Carpet", it is recommended to dry prewashed and cleaned footwear on it.
• To care for the "Heated Carpet" surface, it is recommended to use home dry vacuum cleaner.
• After transportation at negative air temperature, the "Heated Carpet" should be heated in a natural way by leaving for 2 hours in a heated room, only after
that it is allowed to put the product into operation.
• The "Heated Carpet" shall not be left unattended when operating.
• The product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
