MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

DISCONNECT THE APPLIANCE FROM THE ELECTRICITY SUPPLY BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY
WORK
It is recommended to check at least once a year:
the state and tension of the belt;
the play of the blade shaft which is important for processing results;
the state of the sealed joints at the base of the dip beam;
the state of cleanliness inside the appliance body and the electrical box. If necessary use a vacuum cleaner to
remove dust;
the state of the electrical connections (risk of corrosion).

BELT REPLACEMENT – TENSION
Lock the appliance body in the horizontal position.
Remove the fastening screws from the top cover.
Check the state and tension of the belt.
If the belt must be re-tensioned or replaced: (see figure 7)

Remove the motor casing.
2.
Loosen (by 1 turn) the 4 screws A that secure the motor.
3.
Fully unscrew the screw B if the belt must be replaced and fit the new one, making sure that it is positioned correctly
inside the pulley races.

Tighten screw B just enough to obtain an initial tautness (taut belt without stress).
5.
Continue tightening screw B with approx. another 3 turns to obtain the correct tension.
Lock the 4 screws A in position.

Replace the motor casing.

Replace the top cover

ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE SAFETY DEVICE

See figure 8
The safety device must be checked regularly to ensure it is in proper working order.
The motor must stop at the following standard disconnecting heights:
Minimum height, above or equal to 350 mm.
Maximum height less than or equal to 900 mm.
If this is not the case:
do not use the appliance;
have it adjusted by your dealer's after-sales service.
1) Initial adjustment:
Remove the cover A from the rotation unit to access the mechanism.
- Loosen screws B slightly.
- Turn the cam C slightly.
- Check the disconnecting heights and if necessary continue adjusting.
2) Final adjustment:
- Remove the top cover D.
- Loosen the 2 screws E slightly, which fix the micro-switch F so that it can be moved up or down.
- Lock screws E in position.
- Check the disconnecting heights and if necessary continue adjusting.
Replace the top cover and the cover of the rotation unit.
