Apart from different parameters, VISOCOLOR

tively and a 4-digit number. The number is unique for each test and
refers to the REF number. For NANOCOLOR

tests, the number
always starts with a 0, while VISOCOLOR

tests are indicated with
a 5.

5.4. Measurement

To measure a test, prepare the sample (and the blank value if neces-
sary) according to the test instructions. Then, perform the following
steps (if there is no blank value necessary, you can ignore step 2–4).
1. Select test
2. Insert blank tube into the instrument
3. Press
4. Remove blank tube
5. Insert tube with sample and reagents
6. Press
7. The result is displayed
8. Once you remove the tube, the result is saved in the instrument
memory

If the result is outside the test's measurement range, the instrument
shows < or > and the lowest value of the measuring range. If a
measurement value was determined with a method, whose calibra-
tion was adjusted, the result will be displayed with an exclamation
mark right beside the measurement value. For deleting the calibra-
tion adjustment of a method, the factory-provided calibration has to
be recovered (see 6.10, page 25 ).

5.4.1. Measurement range bar

In addition to the result, the instrument can optionally display a
measurement range bar, to check where the result lays in terms
of the test's measuring range. By default, the function is not active,
