Questo rivoluzionario sistema di chiusura
brevettato trae il suo nome dalla particolare
forma dell'incastro tra la leva ed il corpo del connettore,
che ricorda la serratura di una porta. La novità del
brevetto é di aver defi nitivamente eliminato qualsiasi
dente di tenuta sia sul corpo del connettore che sulla
leva ora completamente cilindrica. Non esiste più alcun
punto di possibile impiglio della corda o della fettuccia
durante l'inserimento e lo sgancio. Sono stati eliminati
pure tutti i bordi taglienti delle fresature del corpo
del connettore e della leva, ora non più necessarie.
L'unica chiusura "senza impigli"

qui rappelle la serrure d'une porte. La nouveauté du
brevet est celle d'avoir défi nitivement éliminé toute
came de blocage soit sur le corps du mousqueton soit
sur la gâchette laquelle, maintenant, est entièrement
cylindrique. Il n'existe plus de possibilité que la corde
et la sangle restent prises en cours d'introduction et de
décrochement. L'on a aussi éliminé toutes les arrêtes
vives, dues aux fraisages du corps du mousqueton et du
doigt, qui ne sont plus nécessaires. La seule fermeture

This revolutionary patented locking system
takes its name from the peculiar shape of
the connection between the gate and the body of the
connector that looks like a door keyhole. The real
novelty of this patent is that there is absolutely no
need for any teeth on the body of the carabiner or on
the gate, now completely cylindrical. Now there are
no longer any points where the rope or web could
get snagged while inserting and removing them. All
the sharp edges left over from grinding the carabiner
and gate have also been eliminated, as it is no longer
necessary.

besonderen Form der Verhakung zwischen dem Hebel
und dem Körper des Karabiners, die an ein Türschloss
erinnert. Neuheit dieses Patents ist die endgültige
Beseitigung von jeder Art von Zahn sowohl auf dem
Karabinerkörper als auch auf dem ganz zylindrischen
Hebel. Es gibt keine Stelle mehr, an der sich Seil
oder Schlinge beim Einlegen oder Herausnehmen
verhaken können. Es wurden außerdem alle scharfen
Kanten der Frässtelen auf dem Karabinerhaken und
dem Hebel beseitigt, die nicht mehr notwendig sind.

Progettato in collaborazione con il Politecnico di
Milano, FROG è un connettore assolutamente nuovo
sia nella forma che nel meccanismo di funzionamento:

straordinariamente rapido e sicuro anche in ancoraggi
non facilmente raggiungibili con connettori classici.

Projecté en collaboation du Politecnico de Milan,

FROG geboren.
Ein Karabiner mit automatischem Verschluss, der an
bestimmten Verankerungspunkten verwendet werden
kann. Der FROG wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit dem
Polytechnikinstitut in Mailand entwickelt. Der FROG
ist ein total anderer Karabiner, sowohl in der Funktion,

Karabiner wie einen altmodischen Haken aus sehen.
Das Einhängen geht ungewöhnlich schnell, andere,
sonst schwer erreichbare Fixpunkte sind leichter zu
erreichen als mit traditionellen Karabinern.
