Fill up the fuel
The appliance may only be refuelled outdoors and not near open fire or
burning cigarettes.
Refill before starting the engine. While the engine is running or still hot, do
not refuel or open the fuel filler cap.
After use, let the unit cool down for at least 5 minutes before refuelling.
In the tank pressure may develop. Loosen the tank cap slowly to allow this
pressure to gradually decrease. Make sure the fuel does not overflow. If the
fuel overflows, the engine must not be started.
Remove any dirt from the appliance and prevent any attempt at ignition until
fuel fumes have evaporated. Replace all fuel tank and container caps
securely. Start the device at least three meters away from the place where
you fuelled it. Do not smoke during fuelling or operation and take care that
no sparks or open flames reach into the working area.
Fuel tank to be emptied outdoors only.
To keep the danger of fire as low as possible the engine and exhaust pipe
must be free from excess grease.
Replace the exhaust pipe and (if necessary) the spark protector if these are
not in proper working order any more.
Before starting work please:
• check that there is enough gasoline and oil in each tank
• check that the air filter is clean
• Before each use of the device, check that the throttle lever returns to
zero position automatically.
• Check the unit for fuel leaks before each use. Make sure that the fuel cap
is securely closed.

and tightened properly and whether all moving parts are running smooth
whenever the appliance is to be put into operation.
