Some simple everyday household appliances can be used to maintain the finish of stainless steel surfaces.
They include:
Vinegar:
To clean and polish stainless steel, moisten a soft cloth with undiluted white or cider vinegar and wipe the
surface clean.
Club Soda:
Streaks or heat stains can be removed by rubbing with a soft cloth moistened with club soda.
Mild Abrasive Cleaner:
The stainless steel surface should be rinsed and dried immediately after any cleaning operation.
Important:
Always read the manufacturer's instructions on the label of cleaning products for proper cleaning
instructions and to be sure it can be used safely on stainless steel.
What not to do
• Do not use chlorine bleach or cleaning products that contain chlorine bleach or hydrochloric acid, which can be
found in some cleaning agents.
• Avoid use of metallic scourers, brushes with metal bristles, coarse abrasives or abrasive powders. These will ruin
the finish.
