The installation

Mount TOM on the radiator

First, make sure the valve pin is fully
retracted. This is required for the
installation of TOM.
Is the valve pin not fully retracted?
First power up TOM as described in
step 2. When powering up TOM, it
will try to calibrate. The valve pin will
be retracting and then extending.
Remove the power when the pin is fully
retracted.
Remove the existing radiator valve.
Please consult the documentation for
more information about how to remove
the radiator valve.
Be aware, not all radiator valves can
easily be removed. Please contact an
installer if you are having difficulties.
Mount TOM on the radiator using the
white adapter ring.

Powering up TOM
Please decide if you want to power up
TOM using an USB adapter or batteries.
Do you prefer to use batteries? Tom
will behave like an "End Device" in the
ZigBee network.
Do you prefer to use an USB adapter?
TOM will behave like a "Router" in the
network.
Remove the cap of TOM in order to
place the batteries or USB adapter.
Hold the white adapter ring firmly in
place and pull the cap from TOM.
