IMPORTANT! Before using the heater, the accompanying skids must be fitted to its sides. The fasting holes in the
skids are countersunk to accept the screw heads (see arrows, photo 1). Insert the screws several turns using the
Torx key included, but do not tighten them (see photo 2). Stand the heater on a flat surface, as in photo 3, and
tighten home all screws.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
This portable electric fan heater is intended for space heating. The heater is approved for use in humid conditions and rooms
where water may be present, and among its many uses it is suitable for building sites, storage spaces, shops or in the home.
It has been tested for electrical safety, and EMC tested by SEMKO. The fan heater is CE marked: Enclosure class: IP X4
(water splashing).
Safety
• Do not use this heater in or near a shower, bath or swimming pool.
• Stand the heater on a stable surface, so that it can not tip over.
• The heater must not be placed directly below an electrical outlet point.
• Place the heater well away from inflammable materials.
• The heater must not be covered, as this can cause overheating and risk of fire
(see photo A)
• Parts of the heater may become too hot to touch when it is in use.
Operation and controls for models M21 and M31
The heater should be connected to a 230V~ earthed outlet.
Thermostat 0-35 ºC.
Temperature is regulated by the thermostat (B) on models M21 and M31.
The fan can be set for continuous operation or thermostat controlled.
The heater is normally supplied with the fan set for continuous operation; i.e. the fan motor is in operation as long as the
heater is plugged in, irrespective of the thermostat setting. This will give the most even temperature distribution when heating
a space. The fan can be adjusted to be controlled by the thermostat; i.e. the thermostat will cut off the heater element and
fan simultaneously. The alteration must be done by an electrician; following the instructions found inside the cover.
Operation and controls for models M53, M93 and M153
Heaters with a CEE socket must be connected to a 400V3N~ 5-pole supply (see type designation plate).
Heaters supplied with a fixed lead should be connected to a 230V~ or 230V3~ according to the resp. type designation plate.
The heater is switched on and off with the switch C (0-I).
Switch D is used to vary the heat effect, as follows:
M53
– 3,3 kW
M93
– 6,0 kW
M153
– 7,5 kW
Thermostat 0-35 ºC (M153 0-30 ºC)
The thermostat (E) on M53, M93, and M153 controls the temperature and connects the selected heating effect.
For alteration from continuous to thermostat controlled fan operation see M21 and M31, above.
Cleaning
Clean the heater at regular intervals, since dust and dirt may cause overheating and give rise to the risk of fire.

Service and repairs

The following work should be done by personnel from the manufacturer or a service company, or by equivalent qualified
personnel:
Changing the power supply cable.
The heater has a built-in temperature limiter that will trip the power supply in the event of overheating.
If the temperature limiter has tripped, isolate the power supply to the heater, allow the heater to cool down and attend to
the fault.
