Disconnect the electrical supply before
servicing the cooktop.
•
Replace all components before turning the
appliance on.
•
Do not remove grounding wire.
•
Connect grounding wire to an effective
ground.
•
Do not use an adapter or T.
•
Do not use an extension cord.
•
Always use certified hoses and pressure
regulators.
•
Check expiration date of hoses, hose and
pressure regulators and replace them if
necessary.
•
Properly secure and tighten all gas
connections during installation.
•
Install appliance according to the
instructions described in this instructions
manual.
•
Installation and maintenance must be
performed by a qualified technician,
following the manufacturer's instructions
and in compliance with current local safety
regulations. Do neither repair nor replace
any part of the appliance unless
specifically recommended in this manual.
•
Failure to follow these instructions can
result in fire, explosion, electrical shock or
death.
What to do if you smell gas:
•
Close the shut-off valve.
•
Do not try to light any electrical appliance.

Do not touch any electrical switch.
•
Do not use any phone in the environment.
•
Immediately call your gas supplier; use
your neighbor's phone. Follow the gas
supplier's instructions.
•
If you cannot reach your gas supplier,
call the fire department.
Important:
Do not store or use gasoline or other
flammable vapors and liquids in the
vicinity of this appliance.
The electrical and gas connections
must comply with local regulations.
•
When installing the cooktop, provide a
circuit breaker which must have a
minimum gap of 3 mm among contacts.
•
Regulations require that the appliance is
grounded.
•
The power supply cord must be long
enough to connect the appliance to the
main power supply when it is built in.
•
Only use flexible or rigid metal hoses for
gas connection.
•
If necessary, the power supply cord must
be replaced exclusively with a power
supply cord having identical
characteristics to the original supplied by
the manufacturer. This operation must be
performed by a qualified technician who
knows installation and safety regulations
in force.
•
The manufacturer cannot be held
responsible for any injury to persons or
animals or damage to property arising
from failure to comply with these
requirements.
