Perform the following operations for a correct installation and configuration of the modules:
1. Install the module in the sub-rack (SIG7901 or SIG7902) as showed previously
2. Connect the TV antenna cable to the TV IN coaxial connector;
3. Connect the 75 Ohm isolated load to the coaxial output connector;
4. Only for SIG7540; Insert the CAM module in the Common Interface slot (refer to the CAM INSERTION PRO-
CEDURE chapter);
5. Connect the main power supply to the sub-rack;
6. Wait for the module initialization (the green LED is fixed ON and the red LED is OFF or in flashing status);
7. Connect the TPE to the interconnection module of the sub-rack and carry out the preliminary programming
operations that are described in the next paragraphs (see the paragraph PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS).

4.1 CAM INSERTION PROCEDURE (ONLY FOR SIG7540)
The CAM device (not supplied) can be inserted/removed in the Common Interface slot located in the bottom part
of the receiver also with the SIG7540 turned on.
ATTENTION: when you use the CAM (not supplied), take note of the maximum operating temperature
declared by the manufacturer.
WARNING: When showing the channel on the RCA outputs, or in the output of the back panel, the message
"encrypted program" may be displayed, even if you have the decodification rights. Wait a few seconds and the
display and decoding will continue automatically (the video display wait is directly dependent from the CAM).
WARNING: a few functions of the CAM are accessible only after they are enabled. For further information see the
CAM menu (menu: COMMON INTERFACE – MENU CI).
