4.1 Installation

•
Check the device for transportation damages.
•
Report damages from transportation or missing parts to the
shipping company and/or manufacturer without delay.
•
Place the device on a level and firm surface
•
Connect the device to the power source (no. 6) using the
included cable.
•
Connect the device with the USB included cable to your BD
SCAN PC ALL IN ONE, if your device has been delivered
including a BD SCAN PC ALL IN ONE that has been set up by
WINTERSTEIGER. If this is not the case, you must first install
the software and then subsequently connect the device via
USB (no. 5).
•
Remove the calibration plate (no. 3) from the device.
•
Prior to first use of the device, turn on the red and white LED
lights (nos. 7 and 8) with the switches on the back side of the
device.

Be sure that your computer is connected with the Internet
before the first use of the machine if the software is not already
installed.
•
For the installation and set up of your BD SCAN PC ALL IN
ONE please refer to the operating manual delivered with it.

Users should step onto the foot analysis system preferably
when barefoot, but never while wearing shoes. A meaningful
foot analysis can only be achieved when barefoot.
•
Only then can the foot measurements (length, width, heel
width) as well as the foot type be determined accurately. Both
the quality of the silhouette and the footprint can be optimized
by adjusting the exposure in the back end of the program.
