The user must make sure the
plant in which the rotary valve
has to be installed has been ap-
propriately set in safe conditions
from the point of view of risk of
explosion before it is started up
and that the "document regarding
protection against explosions"
has been prepared as envisaged
by ATEX Directive 99/92/EC.
Avoid accumulation of layers of
dust on the machine surfaces
and avoid using compressed air
jets to clean the dust from the
machine. Before every mainte-
nance operation, it is important
to make sure all the electricity
and compressed air supplies are
disconnected.
Before opening the machine, wait
for the dust inside it to settle down
completely.
Use only original spare parts
supplied or recommended by
TOREX. Check to make sure
there are no surface overheating
anomalies.
If this happens, stop the machine
and carry out the necessary
checks.
During operation on the machine,
take into account the possibility
of local formation of potentially
combustible atmospheres. For
any operation to be performed
on the machine (maintenance
and cleaning), the operators must
use the special personal protec-
tion devices (PPD) meant for the
purpose, including:
- Antistatic safety footwear (certi-
ed)
- Antistatic protective clothing
(certied)
- Antistatic cut-proof gloves
The electrical equipment, if any,
used for maintenance or clean-
ing performed with the machine
closed must be ATEX certied

Der Benutzer hat sicherzustellen,
dass die Anlage, in der die Zellen-
radschleuse montiert wird, aus
der Sicht des Explosionsrisikos
unter sicheren Umständen vor

Kategorie II 1D mit IP6X sein.
