15. During operation keep sufficient distance to
the walls and flammable objects like e.g. cur-
tains.
16. Do not operate the appliance near any heat
source.
17. For security reasons do not use the appliance
to style artificial hair.
18. Keep the appliance away from ears and face to
avoid burns.
19. Do not use any hair spray while the appliance
is still working.
20. To avoid damage to your hair, your hair should
be free of hair-styling products such as foam or
gel before using the appliance.
21. The straightening plates are very hot after use.
Handle with care to avoid burns.
22. Disconnect the appliance before depositing.
23. After use and before cleaning always switch
the appliance off, disconnect the plug from
the wall socket and let it cool off.
24. As long as the appliance is connected to the
main power supply, it constitutes a potential
danger near water.
25. Do not stick any objects into the appliance,
as possible damage may cause electric shock.
26. Use the appliance only for the intended purpo-
ses indicated in this manual.
27. Do not use the appliance with accessories
of other manufacturers or brands, to prevent
damage.
28. Never open the casing of the appliance to pre-
vent electric shock.
29. Check the plug and lead cable regularly for
wear and tear. If the lead cable or other parts
show damage, please send the appliance to our
after-sales service for inspection and repair.
Unauthorised repairs can constitute serious
risks for the user and void the warranty.
30. If the lead cable is damaged, it must be repla-
ced by the manufacturer or its after-sales ser-
vice or a similarly qualified person in order to
avoid any hazard.
