Take off the collection bag after finish-
ing work, turn it inside out and brush
it thoroughly. In this way, you avoid
the generation of mold and unpleasant
odours.

Free the outlet area from possible
shredded residues.
Removal of clogging and
blockage
Leaf material and fresh plant parts may
clog / block the device.
Cleaning.the.impeller.wheel:
Pull out the mains plug!

1. Remove the Allen key attached to
the power cable (
2. Use the key (13) to open the
screw on the impeller wheel
cover (25) and tip up the cover.
3. Carefully remove residues or
clogging materials from the im-
peller wheel (24).
4. Check to make sure the impeller
wheel is easier to turn and is in
undamaged condition. Have our
Service Centre (see p. 65) re-
place a defective impeller wheel.
5. Screw the cover down tight.
The device cannot be operated
unless the impeller wheel cover is
closed and properly screwed down.
Cleaning.the.air.outlet.area:
1. Remove the collection bag.
2. Clean the external air outlet area on
the device.
3. Set the operating mode selector switch
to the suction symbol.

4. Remove dirt residues in the inner air
outlet area with a bottle brush or simi-
lar. Remove unwieldy objects with a
blunt tool without sharp edges.
Cleaning.the.blower./.suction.tube
1. Remove the collection bag loop from
the hook.
2. Remove the fastening screws (
and pull off the blower / suction tube.
3. Knock material out of the inside of the
tube and clean it as required.
4. Remount the tube and reattach the col-
lection bag loop to the hook.
Replacing the collection bag
Replace a defective collection bag. Employ
only original collection bags (see "Spare
Parts"), otherwise the guarantee claim is
invalid.
Safekeeping
•
Keep the leaf blower in a dry, frost-free
location, which is inaccessible to chil-
dren.
•
Do not store the device in direct sunlight;
store it in dark or in reduced light condi-
tions.
•
Do not cover the device with nylon
bags, since moisture can form.
•
Clean the device thoroughly at the
season end and for storage during win-
tering. Clean the collection bag by re-
moving it, emptying it and washing with
warm water and neutral soap. Re-attach
the dried bag again.
•
Ensure that all nuts, bolts and screws
are tightened so the equipment is in
safe, functional condition.
