correct use
These appliances are designed for the storage of heating water
and for DHW heating.
Any other or additional use is inappropriate, in particular usage
with alternative storage media. The correct use also includes the
observation of the operating and installation instructions. Only use
the appliance for its stated purpose and never change or convert
it in any way.
2.2
Safety instructions
observe the following safety information and instructions.
Installation and commissioning must only be carried out by a
qualified heating contractor.
The contractor is responsible for adherence to all currently
applicable regulations during installation and commissioning.
Operate this appliance only if it is fully installed and all safety
equipment is fitted.
Let a contractor regularly check the appliance and the cold water
safety assembly.
Risk of scalding!
At the draw-off tap, DHW temperatures in excess of
60 °C may occur if a BGC is fitted, if water is heated
by solar energy or through a second heat source.
Small children should be kept away from the outlet
valves.
Risk of injury!
When cleaning the device, never use unsuitable
means of access (e.g. stools, chairs, tables).
Risk of a fall!

properties
3.1.1
General
This appliance combines DHW heating and central heating, and
enables operating times of the heat source that are matched to
the consumers. The volume of the instantaneous water heater
serves as thermal store for DHW heating and simultaneously as
hydraulic separation between the volume flow of the heat source
and that of the heating circuit. DHW is heated via an integral
corrugated stainless steel internal indirect coil that functions like
an instantaneous water heater. The material of the corrugated
stainless steel internal indirect coil is suitable for all types of water
that meet potable water requirements.
The instantaneous water heater cylinder is ideally suited for
operation with a heat pump. The following may be added:
—
To boost the heating water / DHW, the installation of a
BGC electric immersion heater is possible.
—
An additional heat source can be connected (e.g. a solid fuel
boiler).
—
Solar heating with the SBS W SOL.
For the connection of temperature sensors, the appliance is
equipped with five to seven sensor wells plus a well for fitting a
thermometer,

SBS W SOL
The SBS W SOL cylinders are additionally equipped with a smooth
tube internal indirect coil for boosting the cylinder content with
solar energy.
