3 Operation
1) The remote control is operated by means of a 3 V button
cell (type CR 2025). If the remote control is supplied with a
battery inserted, remove the protective film (to protect the
battery from being discharged) from the battery holder. The
remote control is now ready for operation. When you press a
button on the remote control, always point the remote con-
trol at the IR sensor (1). There must be no obstacles between
.
the sensor and the remote control.
To insert or replace the battery, pull out the battery holder
on the rear. Insert the battery with the positive pole facing
up. If the remote control is not in use for a longer period of
time, always remove the battery to prevent damage due to
battery leakage.
Never put batteries in the household waste. To
protect the environment, always take them to a
special waste disposal, e. g. collection container at
your retailer.
2) Connect the signal sources to the inputs HDMI IN (8). Con-
nect the display unit to the output HDMI OUT (7).
3) Connect the power supply unit provided to the jack DC 5V
(6) and to a mains socket (230 V/ 50 Hz).
4) Use the button
/I (5) or ON (9) to switch on the signal
switch. The LED IN (2) of the most recent input selected (8)
will light up.
5) To switch to another input, press the button Switch (3) or
press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (10), ⋀ or ⋁ (11) on the remote
control.
6) After operation, use the button /I (5) or OFF (9) to switch
off the signal switch. The LED
switch is not in use for a longer period of time, disconnect
the power supply unit from the socket. It will consume some
power even when the signal switch has been switched off.
