Using the cooling device

Ensure that the items placed in the cooling device are suitable
for cooling to the selected temperature.
Ensure that food or liquids in glass containers are not exces-
sively refrigerated. Liquids expand when they freeze. This can
therefore destroy glass containers.
Ensure that your refrigerated container is well ventilated so
that any heat created can dissipate. Otherwise proper func-
tioning cannot be ensured. It is especially important not to
cover the air vents.
Setting up the cooling device
➤ Place the cooling device on a firm base.
Ensure that the ventilation slots are at least 10 cm away from the wall so
that the heat that arises during operation can be drawn off.
Connecting the cooling device to DC power
➤ Plug the DC connection cable (fig. 1 2, page 3) into the DC socket of the
cooling device (fig. 2 2, page 4).
➤ Connect the connection cable to a DC socket.
Connecting the cooling device to AC power
➤ Plug the AC connection cable (fig. 1 3, page 3) into the AC socket of the
cooling device (fig. 2 1, page 4).
➤ Connect the connection cable to an AC socket.
Setting the operating mode
➤ Push the switch (fig. 2 3, page 4) on the control panel to "HOT" or
"COLD" to switch the device on.
✓ The cooling device starts cooling/heating the interior and the appropriate
LED lights up.
