1.7. Ventilation.
1.7.1. Fireplace room ventilation. The fireplace must be provided with an air outlet or inlet of not
less than 450 cm2 (square centimetres). We have optional diffusers with for this purpose.
1.7.2. External air intake. The contribution of air needed for combustion is carried out through a
connector 100mm diameter (G-4). This can be taken from outside the home, garage or basement
ventilation. Although not do this through the outer tube should be left at ground connection.
Although not made this conduit should be left outside the connecting pipe at ground level. Placing
a grating outside should not reduce the air inlet section indicated above. You should have proper
air intake for combustion at home enclosure, so this is not completely watertight.
1.8. Covering fireplace. It must be constructed with non-flammable material and should not be
sitting on top of the appliance or any contact points (such as front frame, etc.). A board should be
placed around the frame to absorb the expansions of the appliance (G-5). Inside should not
contain flammable or fragile such as wood, wallpaper, glass, chalk, etc.
1.9. Checking mechanism.
1.9.1. Frame.
− The appliance is supplied with a frame without edges (G-6).

In option can provide a frame with edges depending on the type of finish that is made.
See optional accessories (B-1).
1.9.2. Load door. The load door opening is different depends of model:
− For models W1501 and W1502 (G-7) - The opening of the door is made with the side
handle, pulling it with the tool.
To adjust the tightness of the door, is made by a screw (G-8).
If it's necessary remove the door, it is done by removing the screw top of the door (G-9) and the
door flipped forward.
− For models W1551 – W1552. Guillotine opening: in this system, the door move from
down to upwards and it is useful for loading.
Swing opening. This function is used for the cleaning or changing glass, seals etc. To open the
doors, use specific tool, rocking it on the upper frame and pulling to the left so the door moves
down.
1.9.3. Gate valve (smoke protection register).
− For model W1501 - To change the registration rod fumes must unscrew the 9 screws
marked in the scheme (G-10).
Adjust this register (if is necessary) by screw of picture.
− For model W1551 – When the assembly of appliance is complete must be checked the
register mechanisms and verify that smoke protection register pieces are positioned
correctly (H-1).
Check the register rod to close the door closes lower smoke step to open this register, activate
the mechanism lateral located in the door of the appliance using the tool provided (G-11,G-12,G-
13,G-14).
1.9.4. Gate valve (smoke protection register) pieces (H-1). Put these pieces by schemes G-
21, G-22.
WARNING:
Is very important before proceeding the module coating, make sure all mechanisms
function properly.
1.10. Cleaning and maintenance. It is highly recommended an accessible zone for cleaning the
appliance, smoke chamber and smokestack.
1.11. Checking mechanisms. Once the assembly of the appliance is finish, must be checked
that the locking mechanisms of gate valve are positioned as shown in the picture. Verify that the
piston rod of the gate valve when you close the door it shuts off lees smoke.
