6.3 REMOVING A USB DEVICE

• Switch off the USB device.
• Pull the charging adaptor plug out of the on-board power socket.
• Separate your USB device from the charging adaptor.
Always pull the charging adaptor out of the on-board power socket when the vehicle is switched off other-
wise the battery may be discharged.

7. MAINTENANCE AND CARE

7.1 MAINTENANCE

The USB charging adaptor is maintenance-free when used for the intended purpose.

7.2 CARE

Clean the housing of the charging adaptor with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any abrasive or solvent-based cleaning agents. Never
allow liquids to get into the housing.

8. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION INFORMATION

Do not dispose of electrical devices with household waste! Electrical devices and electronic scrap must be collected
separately and disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner for recycling. Please contact your local council or
city administration regarding disposal options for electrical devices and electronic scrap.
