Use in winter season
We recommend to install the trough drinker into a water circuit means of a connection set ¾" Ref. 103.1984. The water circuit is then connected to a SUEVIA
Heating Unit. This guarantees a frostprotected use throughout the year. Connecting scheme: see heating unit.
Heated version
Heating element Ref. 131.0523 (24 V, 80 W) can be installed at any time to keep water inside of the bowl frost-free. For power supply a transformer is
necessary. Transformer should be mounted outside of animal's reach! For frost protection of the water line a frost protection heating cable Ref. 101.0861 (24
V, 20 W, 2 m / 6,56 ft length), or Ref. 101.1863 (24 V, 30 W, 3 m / 9,84 ft length) can be supplied. For increased frost protection of the valve an installation of
a valve heating is recommended Ref. 131.0527 (24 V, 7 W).
Electric connection
All installation, maintenance and inspection works must be carried out only by an authorised and qualified specialist.
Local norms must be respected. The assembly instruction of the respective electric devices are to be followed.
Fire prevention
A minimum distance of 30 mm to flammable material should be held.
Changing of valve side  from the right (as-delivered) to the left side
• Cut off the water supply
• Unscrew 6-edges fixation screw at middle of the top cover. Take off the cover 132.0505.
• Untighten the nuts 102.0254 located on both sides of the drinker
• Remove the guiding rail: unscrew two nuts on both sides, remove the clamping plate, the sealing and take off the guiding rail
• Remove the valve
• Turn the counterweight piece  Imoprtant! Screw Ref. 132.0510 must point to the front and the side with one cast-iron foot of the counterweight must
point downwards.
• Assemble it in reverse order
• Let the water flow and press the flap several times  Function check
Protection bar
A protection bar Ref. 131.1391 or 131.1394 can be installed as option for protection of the drinker.
