Fixation
The SUEVIA Valve Trough Drinker Mod. 500 can be fixed either on vertical or horizontal tubes 1¼" - 2",
as well as on the wall. Wall fixation with a Fixation angle 90°, galvanized Ref. 131.1050 possible (see
Cover
accessories). For tube fixation 2x SUEVIA Double Brackets Ref. 101.0179, are required.
Recommended Installation Height
90 - 100 cm / 36" - 40" until edge of trough
Water connection

By means of a lateral ¾" connection angle (not incluced) water connection can be done from the top or
bottom. For the connection of the water tube SUEVIA Boring Bracket Ref. 101.0535 is foreseen.
Pipe union is recommended. In case of risk of frost insulate water line and maintain frost-free by means of
a frost protection heating cable.

Attention!
100 cm
Flush water line well before you connect Mod. 500! If dirty water (sand, suspended matters) is given,
SUEVIA preliminary filter Ref. 101.0487 must be installed before the trough drinker. Consider the norm DIN
1988 / DIN EN 1717!
Water pressure
The valve is suited for high and low water pressure.
Minimum water pressure 0,5 bar, max. 5 bar. / Minimum water pressure 7,25 psi, max. 73 psi.
Regulation Screws
Water flow approx. 30 l/min. given 5 bar. / Water flow approx. 7,9 gal/min. given 73 psi.
Regulation of the valve
• (Pos. 1) Unscrew 6-edges fixation screw at middle of the top cover. Take off the cover 132.0505.
• (Pos. 2) Untighten the nuts 102.0254 located on both sides of the drinker.
• (Pos. 3) Move the counter weight towards the valve connection
• Let the water flow at high pressure
• (Pos. 3) If the valve is not tight, the counter weight has to be pushed slightly away from connections
untill the valve is tight.

• (Pos. 4) Add 2 cm as a security-distance (away from the valve).
• (Pos. 5) Screw the counter weight.
• (Pos. 6) Check that the distance between the non-operated counter weight and the flap is 1 cm. If
needed adjust the bar in a new position by untightening regulation screws. Afterwards control the tight
fixation of the regulation screws.
