Intended use
biOrb AIR 60 may only be used as follows:
• As Terrarium (mini ecosystem for plants).
The supplied components may only be used for the bi-
Orb products as specified in the following:
• Automatic misting unit: For generating humidity in
the biOrb AIR 60.
• Plug-in power pack: For connecting the automatic
misting unit and lighting unit to the mains.
– By replacing the adapter, the plug-in power pack
can be adapted to the existing socket and electri-
cal voltage.
Function description
Terrarium with LED lighting, sensor-controlled auto-
matic misting unit for humidifying the introduced
plants, fan and filter cartridge for cleaning the air.

INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION

Setting up the container
How to proceed:
• Do not expose to direct sunlight.
• For indoor use only.
• Do not move the terrarium when it is filled.
• Do not place on or near electrical devices.
• Do not place on or near heat sources.
• Operate in accordance with instructions.
Removing/inserting the automatic misting unit
How to proceed:

1. Open the biOrb AIR 60 container cover.
2. Disconnect the plug from the cover ring.
3. Remove the container of the automatic misting
unit.
4. Reinsert the automatic misting unit and insert the
plug.
Installing the substrate support
tray
Prerequisite
• The automatic misting unit has been removed.
How to proceed:

1. Place both parts of the substrate support tray with
the flat sides on top of each other and push the
hinges together until they engage with a click.
2. Fold open the substrate support tray and place the
capillary matting inside it.
– Ensure that the opening in the centre of the mat-
ting aligns with the opening in the substrate sup-
port tray.
3. Use the loops to fasten the matting on the rear of
the support tray.
4. Fold up the support tray together with the matting
and insert it in the container.
5. Fold open the support tray with the matting again.
6. Fit the substrate support tray over the access duct
in the middle of the container.
7. Seal off the access duct with the rubber stopper.
