Putting into Service of the Device
GB
Connect the device to a duly installed 230V/50Hz socket with earthing
protection.
Before brewing with coffee powder for the first time, let the device go through 2-
3 complete cycles only with cold water (without the coffee powder and the filter)
to clean it.
Wash the filter insert and the thermo pot carefully in the sink.
1. Remove the thermo pot from the stand surface and fill it with cold water.
2. Raise the water tank lid. Fill the water tank with water until the water tank display
shows the desired number of cups.
3. Remove the filter holder cover and insert a paper filter (size 1 x 2) in the filter
holder. Fill the desired amount of coffee powder (about 1 teaspoon for 2 cups)
into the filter.
4. Place the cover back onto the filter holder.
5. Place the pot back onto the stand surface and close the water tank lid.
6. Shift the switch to the „ON/1" position. The brewing now starts.
7. Once the brewing is completed, shift the switch to the „OFF/0" position. Remove
the pot from the stand surface and empty the filter holder.
8. Close the thermo pot with the lid. The coffee will remain hot for a few hours.
Decalcification is necessary when the brewing time increases substantially.
Use only a standard decalcifier made with a citric acid base.
Before cleaning remove the plug from the socket and leave the device to cool for
about 1 hour!
Clean the device only with a slightly moist cloth.
Do not use aggressive detergents and solvents.
The thermo pot and the filter holder can be washed normally in a sink.
This appliance conforms with the CE directives for radio interference suppression
and low-voltage safety and has been built to meet current safety requirements.
