6.1 Detailed description

1. ON/OFF button – The device is switched on and off by simply pressing the
switches off automatically if it is not used for five minutes. When the device is switched on, all the
lights on the energy level display briefly illuminate, whereupon the device switches to energy level 1.
2. Button for automatic skin tone detection – By pressing the
recommended energy level for your treatment on the relevant area of skin. If this button is pressed,
it illuminates green and all the energy level selection buttons flash for ten seconds. If the skin con-
tact sensor is in full contact with the desired treatment area and a light pulse is emitted, the recom-
mended energy level (depending on the skin tone at the area being treated) is automatically set; the
energy level display illuminates accordingly.
It should be noted that the recommended energy level is only selected if the corresponding button
is pressed, not if the skin tone changes or the treatment area is changed.
3. Energy level selection buttons – The button + (higher energy level) and – (lower energy level) allow
you to choose between six different levels. Select the energy level according to your personal phy-
sical comfort or based on your skin sensitivity test. You can use the button for automatic skin tone
detection to select the optimum energy level for each treatment area.
• By pressing the buttons + or – (after switching on the device), the energy will be increased or lowe-
red respectively by one level. Each additional press changes the energy level between the lowest
(marked with "1") and the highest level (marked with "6").
• A corresponding number of green lights on the energy level display illuminate depending on the
selected energy level.
4. Battery status indicator – This display provides information about the battery charge status:
• Red – Battery charging.
Note: If the light for energy level 1 illuminates in addition to this red light, the device is switched on.
• Green – The battery is completely charged and the device is connected to the external power sup-
ply.
• Red, flashing slowly – Low battery charge status (approximately 30 per cent).
• Red, flashing quickly – Very low battery charge status (approximately 10 per cent).
Note: The battery charge display only illuminates green or only flashes red if the device is switched
on.
5. Indicator lamp – This display on the rear of the device features several different status lights (see fol-
lowing table).
