• Before using the appliance, wash all the parts that come into contact with food. (see
Cleaning paragraph).

Handle the blades (7) with care since they are very sharp.

PuttinG into oPeRation

• Place the appliance body (2) on a flat steady surface and fully extend the power cord (9)
being careful not to let it hang from the surface.
• Make sure the appliance is switched off (control 1 in position 0) and that the plug is
disconnected from the power outlet.
• Place the jar (5) on the seat (3), by aligning the 2 triangles and rotate the jar clockwise until
it engages (fig. 1).
• Put the ingredients to blend, mix or homogenize in the jar (5).
• Fit the lid (4) on the jar making sure that the measuring cap (7) is inserted into the seat.
• Connect the plug to the electrical outlet.
• Operate the appliance at the desired speed using the control (1)
• After use turn off the appliance by setting the control (1) to position 0, wait until the blades
have completely stopped before removing the lid (4) and disconnect the plug from the outlet.

• Never put amounts of food in the jug (5) that exceeds its capacity: 1 litre.
• Never pour boiling hot liquids into the jug.
• Do not use the appliance to work hard food or to crush ice.
• Do not use the appliance for more than 3 consecutive minutes. Wait 1 minute between
a processing and the next.
• Do not operate the appliance without the lid (4) or remove it while the appliance is
operating. To add ingredients during the processing remove only the measuring cap (8) and
insert the ingredients from this opening.
• Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
• Disconnect the plug from the outlet when the unit is unattended and before mounting,
dismounting or cleaning it.
• Never touch the moving blades.
• Never open the lid when the appliance is operating or while the blades are still moving
after turning off the appliance.
