SWITCHING THE APPLIANCE ON AND OFF

Important
Before proceeding with this operation
check that the well is not raised and resting
firmly on fixed part of appliance.
1 - Turn on the appliance's circuit breaker to con-
nect it to the electrical mains.
2 - Turn the knob (A) clockwise (setting 1) to the
temperature required to turn on the electricity
supply.
The mains light (D) comes on.
3 - Turn the knob (B) clockwise (setting 3) to turn
on the heating elements.
4 - The temperature light (E) comes on. The light
goes out once the temperature is reached.
If knob (A) is turned to switch on the electricity
supply and knob (B) is already on setting 3 the
lights (D-E) come on simultaneously.
5 - Turn the knob (B) to a power (setting 4) to set
the heating elements' operating times in order
to keep the cooking temperature constant.
Important
With the knob (B) set on 3 the heating ele-
ments operate continuously, and only
switch off when the set temperature is
reached.
With the knob (B) turned to 4 the heating el-
ement operating times are directly propor-
tional to the power setting selected.
Turning off
1 - Turn both the knobs (A-B) anti-clockwise (set-
ting 2-5) to turn off the appliance.
The mains light (D) goes out.

connect it from the electrical mains.
