dust bag (Fig. 5.1).
2. Place the dust bag neck opening around the
exhaust port (Fig. 5.3) and release the metal
collar wings.
WARNING
Do not use the dust bag when machining metals. The
hot chips or sparks may ignite saw dust or the bag
itself. Clean and remove sawdust from under the saw
frequently.
Extension wings
1. Loosen the knob (Fig. 6.1) then slide the exten-
sion table to desired position and tighten the
knob.
2. The stop plate is designed for use during repet-

Rotate the stop plate (Fig. 6.3) to vertical po-
sition, and retighten the locking bolt (Fig. 6.2).
Working clamp
1. Place the working clamp assembly (Fig. 7.1) in
one of the mounting holes (Fig. 7.2).
2. The height of the clamp assembly can be ad-
justed by loosening knob (Fig. 7.3) located in
the back of clamp.
Base plate to bench
Place the saw in the desired location directly on a
workbench where there is room for handling and
proper support of the work piece. The base of the
saw has four mounting holes. Bolt the base of the
miter saw (Fig. 8.1) to the workbench (Fig. 8.5)
using bolt (Fig. 8.2), rubber washer (Fig. 8.3), flat
washers (Fig. 8.4, 8.6), lock washer (Fig. 8.7), nut
(Fig. 8.8) and lock nut (Fig. 8.9) as shown.
NOTE
Mounting hardware is not included with this tool.
Bolts, nuts, washers and screws must be purchased
separately.
