Safety Information
Before starting to work with the test kit, read this operating manual and observe the infor-
mation contained. Failure to observe the instructions contained, particularly those related
to safety, can put people, the environment, equipment and systems at risk.
The test kit complies with state-of-the-art technology with regard to accuracy, principles of
operation and safe operation of the devices.

2.1 Intended Use

The test kit may only be used to generate a pressure or vacuum within the range from -0.95
to +60 bar with air. Its use with other media, particularly hydraulic oil, leads to damage to
the test kit. The test kit may only be used to generate pressures which are approved for the
test kit. & "Technical Data" on Page 21
The test kit must never be connected to external sources of pressure.
Any other use of the test kit is not permitted, can be the cause of accidents or destruction
of the test kit and leads to immediate annulment of all rights to assert claims against the
manufacturer with regard to the guarantee and warranty.

2.2 Technical Personnel

This operating manual is intended for trained technical personnel who are familiar with the
applicable laws and standards related to the area of use. Technical personnel assigned to
starting up and operating the device must provide evidence of having the necessary qualifi-
cation. Qualification can be achieved through an appropriate training course or appropriate
instruction.
Technical personnel must be familiar with the content of this operating manual and have
access to it at all times.
