5.3 Measuring the Pressure or Vacuum

A condition for adjusting, calibrating or controlling the accuracy is an equal pressure or
equal vacuum of the test object and reference device.
The pressure or vacuum is generated and adjusted by means of the hand pump.
The procedures necessary to perform the pressure measurement are defined by the user.
1 Generate the pressure or vacuum with the test kit. & "Generating the Pressure"
on Page 12 or "Generating a Vacuum" on Page 14
2 Compare the measured value reading on the ServiceJunior with the measured
value reading of the test object.
3 Record the results.

5.4 Releasing the Pressure

After measuring the pressure or vacuum, the pressure in the test kit must be levelled.
CAUTION!
Risk of minor to moderately severe injuries through excess pressure.
► Never disassemble components connected to the test kit when it is pres-
surised!
► Open the pressure release valve before disassembling components!
1 Turn the pressure release valve 2 revolutions counterclockwise and wait until the
measuring set-up is depressurised.
2 The test object and appropriate adapter can be disassembled from the hand
pump.
