C. Setting the activation time for all the daily time bands (both band 1 and band 2):
to select the activation time for all the time bands, enter ON for time bands setting mode as explained in the first part of chapter
8. In other words, press SET for 6 seconds then release the key. One of the four figures shown (A-D) will appear. Use the MODE
key to move to figure C, where the ON symbol will flash.
Now press SET to see the figure below (called ON1), where you can set the ON time for band 1 of Monday.
If you don't want to change anything for this time band, press SET again. The screen with the ON time for band 1 of Tuesday
will be activated (i.e. number 1 will remain active, but the day will change from Monday (MO) to Tuesday (TU)). Use the SET
key to activate band 1 for every day of the week in sequence, up to Sunday (SU), after which you will move on to figure ON2
corresponding to the ON time for band 2 of Monday.
Use the SET key to view all the ON times for band 2 for every day of the week.
Once you have reached the ON time for band 2 of Sunday, you can press SET again to quit the time band setting mode and
return to the main page.
Now let's suppose we want to set 12.00 as the ON time for Monday, using the first of the two time bands available (i.e. band 1).
Following the above procedure, we select band 1 of Monday and, unlike the previous method, we press the ON/OFF key once
we have reached the required band. This will bring us to figure ON3 which has little dashes in place of the time (see the image
below). Press ON/OFF again to see the flashing time, and modify it with the arrow keys. Use MODE to pass from the hour to the
minutes (the minutes can be varied in steps of 10).
After setting the ON time (12.00 in figure ON4, as an example), press SET to confirm the setting and move on automatically to
the next time band (ON band 1 for Tuesday in our example). Warning: the actions undertaken up to this point will switch the
unit on at 12.00 on Monday, but there is still no switch-off time. Use the same procedure to set the ON time for all the required
time bands.
If you want to alter the time of certain bands after making the setting, remember that by pressing the SET key on a previously
set band, you can move on to the next one without changing anything.
D. Setting the deactivation time for all the daily time bands (both band 1 and band 2):
follow the above procedure to set the OFF time for all the time bands, but this time selecting figure D (i.e. time band OFF set-
ting) as your starting point.
Remember that 12.00 has been selected as the ON time for band 1 of Monday, so the OFF time to be set for that band must be
later than 12.00.
The last point to be emphasised is that you can set ON only, or OFF only, for a given time band, leaving the user to manually
alter the status of the unit.
For example, if you want the unit to switch on every morning at 7.00 and then be switched off manually by the user in the even-
ing, you can set a time of 7.00 on every ON band 1 for every day of the week, without setting any time for the OFF bands 1.
