4. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before
cleaning. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
Use a damp cloth for cleaning.
5. Do not use this product near water.
6. Do not place this product on an unstable cart,
stand or table. The product may fall, causing
serious damage to the product.
7. Do not attempt to service this product yourself,
as opening or removing covers may expose
you to dangerous voltage points or other risks.
Refer all servicing to service personnel.
8. Unplug this product from the wall outlet and
refer servicing to qualified service personnel
under the following conditions:
A. When the power cord or plug is damaged or
frayed.
A Stapling depth control.
CONNECTION
The voltage is specified on the unit. Before con-
necting the unit, make sure that the socket has
the correct voltage. Owing to the construction of
the stapler, it has to be connected to a nearby and
easily accessible socket outlet. Unplug the machi-
ne when not in use.

STAPLES
Use only Rapid staples with the same staple des-
ignation as you find at the front of the magazine.
Use only original Rapid staples to ensure perfect
function. Using the wrong type of staples may
result in bad stapling or even damage the unit.
3
