17. For heating cable with no outer Jacket, slide parts
into position as shown.
18. Fasten the metal pipe mounting bracket loosely to
the pipe with the metal band. Position the bracket
such that the cable and fitting come straight up
through the hole, and then tighten the band.
19. Metallic junction box must be used to ensure
proper ground. Insert heating cable and tighten.
Note 1: Follow instructions provided with the
junction box to seal against water if used in wet
locations.
Note 2:The free length of the leads inside the
junction box shall be at least 6" (2.5cm).

20. Make connections as shown, connect the power
conductors to the cable leads. Connect the
incoming supply ground to the cable braid and to
the green ground wire. The wire nuts included are
not intended for use with aluminum feed wires.

21. For roof and gutter applications, apply "Electric
De-icing" label to junction box, as shown.

BriskHeat warrants to the original purchaser of this product for the period of eighteen (18) months from date of shipment
or twelve (12) months from date of installation, whichever comes first. BriskHeat's obligation and the exclusive remedy
