1.7 Packing disposal
The packing can be used again for reinstallation, if any, or it can be disposed of. Packing must be disposed of according to the standards
in force in the Country of use.
Most of the materials we use for packing are recyclable. These are:
- "Fir" wood;
- Plywood;
- Polyethylene ( PE ) protective film for packing;
- Polyethylene ( PE )straps and adhesive tape;
- Recycled and recyclable cardboard packing;
- CFC-free Polystyrene ( PS ) and/or soft Polyurethane compound ( PUR ) spacers;
- Metal nails, hinges and other fixing devices.
For highest protection of the environment, we recommend that you contact a specialised centre for the collection and recycling of packing
in your Country.
Technical data
2.
2.1 Fluids and materials used
Machine areas that may come into contact with food products are made of non-toxic materials for use with food.
The refrigerants used in our equipment are those permitted by current directives for the protection of the environment.
2.2 Power, consumption, weights, noise levels and dimensions
See techinical documentation.
Operation
3.
3.1 Destined use, intended and unintended uses
Our refrigerating equipment is classed as food and agricultural machinery (MACHINES DIRECTIVE 2006/42/EC), destined for the
treatment of food products.
MACHINE USE
The machine is designed for the conservation of foods and/or "fresh" products at temperatures indicated in annexes.
It has been designed to work in ambient temperatures from +16°C to +43°C (class T).
It has been designed to maintain a set temperature in a refrigerated cold room suitable for such uses.
The machine is not designed for use in cold rooms situated outside.
The machine is not designed for installation and use in an environment where there is risk of explosion.
Any use other than that permitted shall be considered improper, and in this case the Manufacturer will decline all liability.
The machine is not designed for the conservation of products, which produce corrosive substances.
3.2 Operation limit characteristics
OPERATION LIMITS
In the event of a failure in the power supply to the machine, proceed as follows:
- If the power failure is minimal and lasts no more than 10-15 minutes, there will be no specific problems since, if the cold room is well
insulated, its temperature will be maintained. Avoid opening the door !!
- If the power failure lasts for more than 10-15 minutes, check that the temperature of the thermometer is not above the operation
threshold (+10°C for the N machine and -15°C for the B unit), then ensure over time that the products in the cold room does not
deteriorate. Insofar as is possible, avoid opening the cold room door !!
STORAGE OF PRODUCTS IN THE COLD ROOM
For machine optimum performance, follow the indications given
below:
- Before placing products in the cold room, wait until the machine
thermometer has reached the previously set temperature.
- Do not place large quantities of products in the cold room all at
once. Products should be loaded gradually over time.
- Do not place products at too high temperatures in the cold room
so as not to affect good conservation conditions adversely
- Place products with strong odours in the cold room only if
conserved in bags, bottles, closed containers or containers
covered with protective film for foods.
- Keep cold room door opening and opening times to a minimum
- Ensure that, during products storage, the inlet and outlet for air
moved by the evaporator are not obstructed.
