Refuse disposal and demolition

7.
The instructions contained in this chapter are for qualified personnel. Disposal must be carried out in accordance with the standards in
force in the Country of use. The crossed-out wheeled bin means that within the European Union the product must be taken to separate
collection at the product end-of life. This applies to your device but also to any enhancements marked with this symbol. Do not dispose
of these products as unsorted municipal waste.

7.1 Refuse storage

As far as regards respect for the environment, there are different standards of reference in different countries. Provisional storage of
special refuse while awaiting disposal by definitive treatment and/or storage is permitted. Any type of refrigerant must not be disposed of
in the environment.
No replacement of refrigerant with refrigerants other than those specified on the data plate is permitted without prior authorisation from
the manufacturer.

7.2 Demolition procedures

For demolition procedures, the provisions set by the laws and relative bodies in the Country of use must be respected.
In general it is necessary to dispatch the appliance to qualified collection/demolition centres.
We suggest the following:
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains power and water supply.
• Dismantle the appliance, grouping the components according to their chemical nature. We remind you that the refrigerating system
contains lubricating oil and refrigerant that can be recovered and re-used.
• Proceed to demolition of the appliance in full respect of the laws in force.
DEMOLITION OPERATIONS MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL.
