e) Maintain power tools. Check for
misalignment or binding of moving
parts, breakage of parts and any other
condition that may affect the power tool's
operation. If damaged, have the power
tool repaired before use. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power
tools.
f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean.
Properly maintained cutting tools with
sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind
and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and
tool bits etc. in accordance with these
GB
instructions, taking into account the
working conditions and the work to
be performed. Use of the power tool for
operations different from those intended
could result in a hazardous situation.
5. Battery tool use and care
a) Recharge only with the charger
specified by the manufacturer. A charger
that is suitable for one type of battery pack
may create a risk of fire when used with
another battery pack.
b) Use power tools only with specifically
designated battery packs. Use of any other
battery packs may create a risk of injury and
fire.
c) When battery pack is not in use, keep it
away from other metal objects, like paper
clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other
small metal objects, Which can make a
connection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may
cause burns or a fire.

a qualified repair person using only
identical replacement parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the power tool is
maintained.
Additional safety instruction for drills
a) Hold power tool by insulated gripping
surfaces, when performing an operation
where the screw or the cutting accessory
may contact hidden wiring. Cutting
accessory contacting a "live" wire may
make exposed metal parts of the power tool
"live" and could give the operator an electric
shock.
b) Wear ear protectors when operating
cordless drills. Exposure to noise can
cause hearing loss.
Special safety information for cordless
drills
a) Prior to working on walls, floors, or similar
material, please ensure that all power lines
located in the work area are shut off at the
main control box.
b) Prior to drilling, inspect the area where the
hole is to be located for lines of any type (e.g.
water, gas, electric). Use a suitable device,
e.g. a metal or power line detector. In case
of doubt please consult a qualified electrician
or the competent supply company.
c) The tool as well as the work pieces can
heat up significantly during the drilling
process. Let these items cool off sufficiently
before continuing the work. Wear appropriate
gloves.
Safety information for rechargeable

cold. Charge the battery only at a temperature
between 0°C and 50°C. A charged battery
can be used to start the cordless drill at a
temperature range between 0°C und 50°C. If
the battery is not being used, store it at a dry
location at a temperature between 0°C und
50°C.

this charger has been damaged it must be
replaced by our customer service so as to
prevent risks.
WARNING! Danger! Ensure that no metal
parts (screws, nails, etc.) are located inside
the charger.
h) Do not store the batteries together with
metal parts that could cause a short circuit at
the contacts. The battery may overheat, catch
on fire, or explode.
i) If a person comes into contact with acid or
other liquids contained inside the charger,
immediately rinse these substances with
plenty of water. If these substances come into
