Intended use
The product is intended for use as a mobile spare rechargeable battery and is suitable for
charging the rechargeable battery of mobile devices (e.g. tablet PC, smartphone, MP3 player
etc.). The built-in internal rechargeable battery is charged via USB. The product has a charge
status indicator and is protected against short circuit and overcurrent.
This product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture
(e.g. in a bathroom) must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval reasons, do not rebuild and/or modify this product. Using the product
for purposes other than those described above may damage the product. In addition, improper
use can cause hazards such as a short circuit, fire or electric shock. Read the instructions
carefully and store them in a safe place. If you pass the product on to a third party, please hand
over these operating instructions as well.

Explanation of symbols

Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and observe the safety instructions
in particular. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on
proper handling in these operating instructions, we assume no liability for any
resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the
warranty/guarantee.
a) General information
• The product is not a toy. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, impacts, flammable gases,
vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
may damage the product.
• Always observe the safety instructions and operating instructions of any other
devices which are connected to the product.
• Never use the product immediately after it has been brought from a cold room into
a warm one. The condensation generated could destroy the product. Allow the
product to reach room temperature before connecting it and putting it to use. This
may take several hours.
• Never leave the product unattended during use.

• Make sure that the connected devices' specifications conform to the product's
specifications listed in the technical data section.
• Do not short-circuit the USB inputs/outputs.
• The casing warms up during use. Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation. Do
not cover the casing!
• Do not store the product in a heated vehicle. Avoid excessive heat (max. 40 °C).
Observe the information in the "Technical data" section.
• Make sure that the cable is not pinched, kinked or damaged by sharp edges.
• Store the product in a cool, dry place when it is not in use.
• Due to the high energy performance of the product, please comply with local
and national regulations if you intend to transport the product by public transport
(e.g. bus or train) or by an aeroplane.
• Consult a technician if you are not sure how to use or connect the product, or if
you have concerns about safety.
• Maintenance, modifications and repairs must only be carried out by a technician
or a specialist repair centre.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instructions,
please contact our technical customer service or other professionals.
b) Rechargeable battery
• The rechargeable battery is permanently built into the product and cannot be
replaced.
• Never damage the rechargeable battery. Damaging the casing of the rechargeable
battery might cause an explosion or a fire!
• Never short-circuit the contacts of the rechargeable battery. Do not throw
the rechargeable battery or the product into fire. There is a danger of fire and
explosion!
• Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, even if you are not using the product.
Due to the rechargeable battery technology being used, you do not need to
discharge the rechargeable battery first.
• Never charge the rechargeable battery of the product unattended.
• When charging, place the product on a surface that is not heat-sensitive. It is
normal that a certain amount of heat is generated during charging.

Charging the internal rechargeable battery
Fully charge the internal rechargeable battery before first use.
Never charge the internal rechargeable battery while an external mobile device is
being charged.
Never charge the internal battery on the micro-USB input and USB-C
concomitantly.
Before charging, make sure that the USB power source can deliver a sufficient
charging current, otherwise you may damage the product.
Do not use the USB port of a computer, keyboard or USB hub without its own power
adapter to charge the internal rechargeable battery, as the current supplied by these
ports is not sufficient.
Briefly press the function switch (6) to display the internal rechargeable battery level. The
remaining capacity of the rechargeable battery is indicated by the lit LEDs as follows:
1 LED flashes:
Remaining capacity 1 - 5%
1 LED:
Remaining capacity 6 - 25 %
2 LEDs:
Remaining capacity up to 50 %
3 LEDs:
Remaining capacity up to 75 %
4 LEDs:
Remaining capacity up to 100 %
