Using For The First Time; Using The Appliance - tomado TM-6660 Mode D'emploi

OPERATION
With this wok set, everybody can cook their favourite
dishes at the table. You can use the wok pans to cook
meat, fish or vegetables. The circles on the plate can be
used for frying eggs, pancakes or larger pieces of meat.

uSING FOR THE FIRST TIME

• Remove all packaging from the appliance.
• Clean the appliance, see 'Cleaning and
Maintenance'.
• Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant
surface.
• Do not place the wok pans or other objects on the
grill plate.
• Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
• Switch the appliance on using the on/off switch.
• Allow the appliance to warm up for ten minutes.
This will allow any dust and manufacturing residues
to burn away. A small amount of smoke may be
released from the appliance whilst it is warming up.
This is normal and does not indicate a problem with
the appliance.
• Make sure there is sufficient ventilation.
• After ten minutes, switch the appliance off.
• Remove the plug from the mains power socket.
• Allow the appliance to cool.
• Continue with the procedure in 'Using the
appliance'.

uSING THE APPLIANCE

• Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant
surface.
• Do not place the wok pans or other objects on the
grill plate.
• Insert the plug into the mains power socket.
• Switch the appliance on using the on/off switch.
• Allow the appliance to heat up. This will take a
couple of minutes.
• Place the wok pans on the grill plate to fry the
ingredients in the wok, or fry the ingredients directly
on the grill plate. The non-stick coating means that it
is not necessary to use any cooking oil or fat.
• Cook the ingredients as desired.
• Never use sharp utensils in the wok pan or on the
grill plate, as you may permanently damage the
non-stick coating.
• Do not leave ingredients on the wok pan or the
grill plate for longer than necessary. Otherwise, the
ingredients may burn and give off smoke.
• Do not use frozen ingredients.
• Use the supplied ladle to pour batter on to one of
the circles to make a delicious pancake.
• Use the spatula to place the cooked ingredients on
your plate. Bon appétit!
• Switch the appliance off using the on/off switch.
• Remove the plug from the mains power socket.
• Allow the appliance to cool down completely before
cleaning or storing.
