To clean the grease fi lter
The metal grease fi lter has an unlimited life
and must be washed once a month by hand
or dishwasher at low temperature and with
a short cycle.
With cleaning in a dishwasher the grease
fi lter may become dull; this does not effect
its fi ltering capacity.
Grease fi lter maintenance:
1. Disconnect the hood from the electric
power supply.
2. Remove the grease fi lters: pull the spring
release handle downwards, then remove
the fi lter.
3. After cleaning the grease fi lter, remount
in reverse order ensuring the entire
extraction surface is covered.
To clean the washable charcoal fi lter:
The charcoal fi lter can be washed once
every two months using hot water and a
suitable detergent, or in a dishwasher at
65°C (if the dishwasher is used, select the
full cycle function and leave dishes out).
Eliminate excess water without damaging
the fi lter, then remove the mattress located
inside the plastic frame and put it in the
oven for 10 minutes at 100° C to dry
completely.
Replace the mattress every 3 years and
when the cloth is damaged."
Charcoal fi lter maintenance
1. Remove the grease fi lters.
2. Hook the charcoal fi lter at the back on the
metal tongue of the hood fi rst, then on the
front with the two knobs.
3. Reverse the above procedure to remove
the charcoal fi lter: by turning the knobs
fi xing it to the hood by 90°.
4. Refi t the grease fi lters.
