5.1 Disassembly for Transport

Due to the heat pump's external dimensions and total height of
approx. 2.1 m, it is not always possible to transport it to its instal-
lation location, particularly through doors, in its fully-assembled
form. To make transport nonetheless possible, the heat pump of-
fers the option of "disassembly". This means that the heat pump
can be separated into an upper section (total height approx.
1.65 m) and a lower section (total height approx. 55 cm).
For this, the lower facade panels (with the exception of the
smaller panel for the water pipe feed-throughs) must be re-
moved. The three flanged unions on the water pipes must then
be loosened (see diagram).
Following this, the two plug connectors (in the vertical cable in-
side the lower section of the device) in the electrical leads of the
immersion heater and the internal circulating pump must be dis-
connected.
Additionally, the temperature sensor must be removed from its
sensor pocket on the return flow pipe (when re-inserting the sen-
sor, a cable tie should be used to fasten it into its final position).
The 16 screws (M5x12) around the coupling-joints (see illustra-
tion) must then be removed. The upper section of the device can
now be lifted from the lower portion (e.g. using transport pipes)
and set down on its device feet.
Re-assembly of the device at the installation location is per-
formed in reverse order.

5.2 Crane Transport

As an option, M12 eyebolts (with washers) can be fitted using the
12.5 mm holes in the four joining plates. With these it is also pos-
sible to transport the heat pump using a crane.
For the eyebolts to be fitted, all facade panels (with the exception
of the lower panel though which the water pipes run) must be re-
moved. Following transportation, the eyebolts must be removed
and the facade panels securely re-attached.
