The connectors are resistant to ambient humidity but they are not designed to be immersed.
For total immersion, use the "flood zone" waterproofing kit.
2.3 WATERPROOFING KIT
The waterproofing kit must be used for connections in flood zones (to be ordered at Diehl Metering).
Using the waterproofing kit:
1) Position the connection in the box.
2) Mix the resin ingredients by pulling the 2 sides of
the plastic bag apart, thereby opening the separation
between the two ingredients (fig.9).
3) Cut the bag and pour its contents into the plastic
bag (fig.10).
4) Wait for it to harden (approximately 30 min).
The connections can stay under water for a few months.

Tighten the quick connectors well, following the
procedure (fig.6) with pinching pliers (reference
E9BM or E9Y from 3M).

We advise to protect the connections with
protective adhesive tape (fig.7).
