3.1 | Reading and keeping the instructions for use

These instructions for use apply exclusively to the aforementioned Rothewald Rear Paddock Stand
(for short: paddock stand). They contain important information on safety and handling. Read these
instructions for use carefully, in particular the safety instructions, before using the paddock stand.
Failure to follow these instructions can lead to serious injury or damage to your motorcycle. Keep
these instructions in a safe place for future reference. If you pass the paddock stand on to a third
party, you must also hand over these instructions.
The instructions for use are based on the standards and regulations applicable in the European
Union and reflect current state-of-the-art technology. When abroad, you should also observe any
country-specific guidelines and laws.

4 | Safety

4.1 | Intended use

This paddock stand, if used properly, makes it easier to carry out countless repair and maintenance
tasks on the motorcycle and is suitable for jacking up both motorcycles with parallel twin-sided
swing arm and motorcycles with bobbins. The spacing of the supports is adjustable within a range of
27–37 cm, meaning that the paddock stand is suitable for a large number of motorcycles.
In order to prevent damage to the motorcycle and possible personal injuries, the Rothewald Paddock
Stand must always be used with the utmost care and in accordance with these instructions for use
and the vehicle manufacturer's specifications.
Since this is a universal product and not intended for a specific motorcycle, it is important to make
sure that it is suitable for your motorcycle model before using it for the first time. It is imperative that
you comply with the stipulations in the vehicle operating instructions and the vehicle manufacturer's
specifications.
The paddock stand must only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use is
