2. Place the mounting plate on the ceiling or wall
exactly where you want to mount the CO alarm. With
a pencil, mark the location of the two screw holes.
3. Drill holes using a 5.0 mm drill bit through the centre
of the marked locations.
Caution: When drilling holes, take care to avoid
any electrical wiring already present in the
ceiling or the wall.
4. Push the plastic screw anchors provided into the
drilled holes, and screw the mounting plate to the
ceiling or wall.
5. Carefully line up the CO alarm on the base, then
press and twist on.
After several seconds (up to 15 sec) two beeps will
confirm the successful enrolment.
6. Press the test button to ensure that the alarm works.
