6.2- Changing the grinding wheel
1. Disconnect machine from its power source.
2. Follow steps below:
2.1. To remove a grinding wheel, proceed as follows:
a- unscrew the 2 screws (10) located on the grinding wheel housing (3).
b- lift and remove the drill bit guide (1).
c- lift and remove the grinding wheel assembly (3A).
d- unscrew (in clockwise direction) the clamping rod (5).
e- remove the retaining washer(6)
f- Now, you can remove the wheel (7) from its support base (8).
2.2. To insert a grinding wheel, proceed as follows:
a- Install a grinding wheel (with correct outer diameter and bore) on the support base (8)
b- Position the retaining washer (6) on the wheel.
c- Tighten the clamping rod (5) (in anticlockwise direction)
d- Insert the grinding wheel assembly (3A) inside the housing (check the wheel assembly is
properly positioned on the spring).
e- Fit the drill bit guide (1) on the wheel housing (3).
f- Tighten the 2 screws (10) located on either side wheel housing (3).
2.3- Now, with the grinding wheel properly installed, carry out a trial run of the tool.
3. Ensure that the whole assembly is tight.
4. Warning! Do NOT use grinding wheels that are worn, broken, cracked or damaged.
Use only original grinding wheels or grinding wheels recommended by tool manufacturer.
6.3- Service
a) Have your tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This
will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.
b) Have your tool repaired by a qualified person
Unless otherwise indicated in this instruction manual, repairs or replacement of any damaged part in
an authorised service centre is recommended.
This electric tool is in accordance with the relevant safety requirements. Repairs should only be
carried out by qualified persons using original spare parts; otherwise this may result in considerable
danger to the user.
c) Maintain tool with care
Keep tool clean for better and safer performance.
6.4- Storage
Store product, instructions manual and accessories in its original packaging.
Product must be stored in a clean, dry location. Always lock up product and keep out of reach of
children.
6.5- Disposal
Do not dispose the product with household garbage. Do not throw into the environment.
Dispose of the product in a collection centre for waste of electrical and electronic equipment, or a
waste drop-off centre; or seek advice from your local municipality.
Disposal of the product, accessories and packaging should be carried out according to local
regulations governing environment protection.
