Meaning of the symbols on the machine
Caution!
Engines produce carbon monoxide, an
odourless, colourless, toxic gas.
If carbon monoxide is inhaled, it can
cause nausea, fainting or death.
Start the engine outdoors and allow it
to run.
Do not start the engine or allow it to run
in closed rooms, even if doors and win-
dows are open.
Read the operating manual
Fuel and fuel vapours are highly
flammable and explosive. Sparks are
generated when the engine is started.
Sparks can ignite flammable bases in
the vicinity.
Flammable foreign matter such as dry
leaves, grass, etc. can ignite.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This documentation describes an internal com-
bustion engine.
Always read the operating manual on the lawn
tractor/garden appliance in addition to this ma-
nual.
Designated use
This internal combustion engine is designed to
drive lawn tractors for private use.
Any other or further use is not considered an in-
tended use.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Use the engine only when it is in a technically
sound and safe condition
Do not deactivate safety and protection de-
vices
Wear ear protectors
Start and operate the engine only outdoors;
operation in closed rooms, even with open
doors and windows, is not permitted
Do not operate the engine when under the
influence of alcohol, drugs or medication
Children, or other people who are not familiar
with the operating instructions, are not allo-
wed to use the machine
