Insulation must be as specified in the „General Insulation
List" (AGI List).
Installation of the Float
1. Remove the base flange (7) and insert the float (7) into
the pipe from the bottom. (Pay attention to the marking
"top" (oben)).
2. Replace the base flange, insert the gasket (9) and fix
with screws (8).
Warning!
If floats with pressure equalization are fitted, care must be
taken that the operating pressure at the bypass level indi-
cator is raised slowly. Sharp variations and sudden
changes in pressure can result in destruction of the float.
Note
All cabling and electrical connections must be carried out in
accordance with the regulations applicable in the country
where the equipment is installed and by personnel qualified
to do.
Magnetic Switches
The connection should be made with cable at least 3 x
0.75mm² according to the wiring diagram. The contact
should be connected according to the desired switch

Operation via a contact protection relay is recommended to
prolong the life of the contacts.
Warning!
Use of magnetic switches with inductive or capacitive load
may lead to the destruction of the reed switch. This may
cause a malfuction to the control circuitry and harm to per-
sons or goods.
With inductive load, magnetic switches have to be con-
nected to a RC Network (see KSR Technical bulletin 1008)
or a recovery diode.
