TO INSTALL THE ADVANCING MECHANISM
(FIG. 10c)
a. With the magazine attachment removed from
screwdriver, align the tabs on the shoe with
the slots in the magazine housing.
b. Push in slightly, then align the return spring
with the pocket in the advancing mechanism.
c. Push the advancing mechanism in and
depress the large spring pin and the small
spring pin on both sides at the same time,
until you hear the "click" of the two spring pins
releasing.
NOTE: The large spring pin should be in the
up position (as shown in Fig. 10c) before the
advancing mechanism is installed. If the large
spring pin is in the down position, the advancing
mechanism will be locked in place.
d. Cycle the advancing mechanism several
times by hand to ensure proper function
before installing the magazine onto your
screwdriver for use.
STORAGE
Store the collated screw magazine indoors in
a place that is inaccessible to children. Keep
away from corrosive agents.
